Test resistance load device [Device for testing standalone operation prevention function]

Load capacity approximately 20kW! Supports three-phase unbalanced loads! Various settings can be changed according to test conditions, including three-phase and single-phase configurations.

The test resistance load device is intended for use in power conditioners for solar power generation systems, among others, to adjust the current balance during standalone operation prevention function tests or as a load for preventing reverse current. The maximum load capacity is 21.8 kW, which can accommodate up to five units in parallel operation for a typical household power conditioner (equivalent to 4 kW). 【Features】 ■ It is possible to switch between three-phase and single-phase according to the test voltage. ■ The load capacity increments are fine, with a minimum of 10 W (in single-phase), allowing for precise current balance adjustments. ■ In tests using three-phase power, the load for each phase can be set individually, enabling the creation of load imbalance conditions. ■ As a safety mechanism to prevent resistor burnout, two mechanisms are installed: the load will not engage unless the cooling fan is operational, and the power will be forcibly cut off if the resistor temperature exceeds a certain level. ■ Switches are available in two patterns: wired and wireless. ■ The wired switch comes with a 10 m cable, which can be extended up to 20 m with an extension cable. ■ The wireless switch is limited to the communication range of the wireless LAN, but distance extension is possible through the use of a relay.

Electric Power Storage Load Device "Denmaru-kun"

"Denmaru-kun" reduces Japan's CO2 emissions by 2,400 tons!!

The power energy from load testing of self-generated power equipment has not been utilized until now. The power storage load device "Denmaru-kun" is equipped with a battery for EVs. It is now possible to store energy during load operation and use it as power for offices and EVs. According to a survey by the Japan Internal Combustion Engine Power Generation Association, the nationwide registration of fire-fighting and emergency generators is approximately 220,000 units. Assuming an average diesel generator of 100 kW, operating at 1/3 load for 30 minutes emits about 10 kg of CO2. If all emergency generators conduct load tests with "Denmaru-kun," it could lead to a reduction of CO2 emissions by approximately 2,400 tons, equivalent to the amount absorbed by 170,000 cedar trees in one year (according to our research).
